Over Four Decades of History
Since the late 1940s, Geno De Re’s vision was to infuse professionalism, top-quality craftsmanship, and friendly service into every customer interaction at his auto body repair and paint shop on Chicago’s South Side. This commitment laid the foundation for the enduring customer service principles of integrity, expertise, and dependability that defined De Re Tire & Auto, founded by Geno in Homewood, Illinois, in 1974. In 1986, a second location was added in Oak Forest, followed by the opening of the New Lenox facility in 1996 and the Orland Hills location in 1999. These additional locations expanded De Re Tire & Auto’s reach throughout the entire South Suburbs of Chicago, all while maintaining its identity as an independently operated business. In 2020, we merged our Homewood location with the Oak Forest location to further streamline our operations.
